Acer Malaysia today unveiled the ultra-portable Swift 14 AI laptop designed for users who value long-lasting battery life and flexibility without sacrificing performance.
The laptop comes in two configurations: an Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 with 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and an Intel Core Ultra 5 Series 2 with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM.
The Acer Swift 14 AI is just 9.7mm thin and weighs only 1.,3kg. It has an aluminium chassis and a vibrant 14-inch OLED WUXGA panel covering a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut.
Acer claims the laptop has a battery life of up to 17 hours thanks to Intel Core Ultra processor.
Additionally, the Swift 14 AI boasts a suite of AI-enabled features. The AI activity indicator on the touchpad acts as a visual signal when AI features or the NPU are active. It includes automatic eye contact correction and background noise reduction to minimise distractions.
Acer PurifiedView 2.0 and PurifiedVoice 2.0, in conjunction with Intel’s NPU, enhance conference call quality.
Users can effortlessly adjust the AI-assisted webcam and microphone settings to their liking via the Acer QuickPanel, which recognizes when they are active.
For added convenience, Live Caption by Copilot+ can translate 40 languages into English in real-time. The laptop can also automatically lock when the user is away and unlock with face recognition upon return.
For input/output, the laptop comes with one HDMI 2.1 port, two USB-C ports (Thunderbolt 4/USB-4), two USB-A 3.2 ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Furthermore, the laptop supports WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 for wireless connectivity.
The Acer Swift 14 AI also comes pre-installed with a Microsoft Home and Student perpetual license and one-year Microsoft Office 365 subscription.
Pricing and Availability
The Swift 14 AI Intel Core Ultra 7 Series 2 model is priced at RM4,999, while the Intel Core Ultra 5 Series 2 variant is priced at RM4,399.
Both variants are available immediately at Acer eStore, Acer official stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as Acer authorised resellers nationwide.
