Realme finally introduced its new flagship, the GT7 Pro, that brings the world’s first underwater photography mode.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
The Realme GT7 Pro features a 6.78-inch Eco2 OLED Plus display by Samsung, touted as the industry’s most energy-efficient. Realme claims that its peak brightness can soar to 6,000 nits, and it houses a 16MP punch-hole camera.
In terms of optics, the GT7 Pro boasts a 50MP primary camera with OIS, equipped with a Sony IMX906 sensor measuring 1/1.56″ and an f/1.8 aperture.
It also includes a 50MP telephoto lens with a Sony IMX882 sensor (1/1.95″ size), an f/2.65 aperture, and OIS. The ultrawide lens is using an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor (1/4″) with an f/2.2 aperture.
With IP68/69 certification, the GT7 Pro is water and dust resistant and introduces a special underwater photography mode for action camera use.
Running on Realme UI 6.0, based on Android 15, it introduces AI-driven features like Sketch to Image, Motion Deblur, and AI Snap Mode to enhance photography and image editing. Gaming experiences are elevated with Game Super Resolution and Gaming Super Frame.
The battery is a standout, boasting a 6,500mAh capacity, the largest in any Realme phone, and larger than many flagship phones out there, supports 120W SuperVOOC wired charging.
The Realme GT7 Pro is available in Mars Orange and Galaxy Grey, with a White variant exclusive to China.
This phone is coming to Malaysia on 18 November 2024, according to Realme’s Facebook post.
