The tablet features a 12-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2800 x 1840 pixels and a brightness of 1,000 nits, runs on HarmonyOS 4.2, and is equipped with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It has a 10,100mAh battery supporting 66W SuperCharge via USB-C.

At the rear, it boasts a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, complemented by an 8MP front-facing camera.

The MatePad 12 X also incorporates Huawei’s NearLink Technology for improved interaction with accessories such as the M-Pencil and Bluetooth Mouse. It further provides dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity.

Huawei Watch D2

The Huawei Watch D2 is a specialised health monitoring watch featuring an inflatable wrist strap, similar to a blood pressure cuff, providing more accurate measurements than watches with optical sensors.

The cuff inflates periodically throughout the day and night. Additionally, the D2 includes an optical sensor for heart rate monitoring, which conserves battery life and avoids the discomfort of cuff inflation. It also boasts an ECG and skin temperature sensors.

Sporting a rectangular 1.82” OLED display with a resolution of 408 x 480 pixels, the D2’s screen is larger than the 1.64” display of its predecessor, the original Watch D. The dimensions of the watch are 48 x 38 x 13.3mm, weighs 85 grams, and it’s available in Black and Gold.

Pricing and Availability

Huawei didn’t disclosed the local pricing for both devices, but you can already place your deposit via Huawei Malaysia’s official website or on Shopee and Lazada.

Early bird offers for the MatePad 12 X feature vouchers and complimentary items such as the M-Pencil, Smart Magnetic Keyboard, and FreeBuds 5.
