Realme’s 320W SuperSonic Charge: Full Battery In Under 5 Minutes!

Realme said this supercharging tech can top up a 4,400 mAh battery in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds.

Realme has just introduced its latest innovation in fast charging technology, the 320W SuperSonic Charge, which is now the world’s fastest smartphone charging technology.

This groundbreaking tech can fully charge a 4,400 mAh smartphone’s battery in just 4 minutes and 30 seconds! Impressively, it can fill the battery up to 26% in one minute and over 50% in less than two minutes.

Realme has named the 320W power adapter the “Pocket Cannon”, which supports mainstream charging protocols, including UFCS (up to 320W), PD, and SuperVOOC.

This adapter also features two USB-C ports for simultaneous charging, delivering 150W for Realme smartphones and 65W for compatible laptops.

Additionally, Realme introduced the “AirGap” Voltage Transformer at the event. This transformer features contact-free electromagnetic conversion to ensure high voltage remains isolated from the battery during faults like circuit breakdowns, providing a risk-free charging experience.

Realme says this transformer is smaller than a fingertip and reduces the voltage to 20V to protect the battery.

It helps maintain exceptional conversion efficiency and thermal management, enabling the 320W SuperSonic Charge to achieve a power efficiency of about 98%.

In addition to the 320W SuperSonic Charge, Realme introduced a 4,420 mAh folded battery. This battery incorporates four cells, each less than 3mm thick, providing a 10% increase in capacity over traditional designs. This development raises speculation about Realme potentially launching a foldable device soon.

Beyond fast charging and battery technologies, Realme also unveiled a solid-state button and an anti-reflective display for smartphones.

The solid-state button offers sliding functionality for seamless operation and intuitive tactile controls for instant zoom and quick clicks, mimicking the feel of a dedicated camera on the phone.

The anti-reflective display, inspired by the structure of a moth’s eye, minimises reflections by up to 80%, providing a paper-like texture for comfortable viewing in bright sunlight. It also offers clear visibility at lower brightness levels and reduces power consumption.
