In addition to the Huawei Mate X6 and FreeBuds Pro 4, the company is launching their latest Nova smartphones in Malaysia.
The Huawei Nova 13 Pro features a 6.76” LTPO display (2776 × 1224) with a variable refresh rate and Always-On Display (AOD) mode. The Nova 13 sports a 6.7″ LTPS OLED screen with 2412 × 1084 resolution.
The Pro model boasts two telephoto cameras: a 12MP 69mm camera on the rear and an 8MP 52mm camera on the front.
Its 50MP main rear camera has a variable aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0, enhancing performance in various lighting conditions, complemented by OIS for low-light scenarios. It also features a 60MP ultrawide selfie camera (17mm, 100°) for group selfies.
The standard Nova 13 offers a simpler 50MP rear camera with a fixed f/1.9 aperture, lacking OIS, and includes the same 60MP ultrawide selfie camera.
Rated at IP65, the phones can withstand water splashes, and its Splash Touch technology ensures the touchscreen remains responsive.
Both Nova 13 models come with 5,000mAh batteries supporting 100W fast charging. The Pro model can charge up to 50% in just 9 minutes, while the standard version takes 10 minutes.
Colour options for the Pro include Loden Green and Black, while the standard model also offers White.
While Huawei has not disclosed the chipset, both models feature 12GB of RAM, with the standard model offering 256GB of storage and the Pro model doubling that to 512GB.
