OpenAI’s ChatGPT has officially arrived on WhatsApp, bringing the renowned chatbot’s conversational prowess to Meta’s popular messaging app.
Users can now add 1 (800) 242-8478, to their contacts and begin chatting with ChatGPT directly on WhatsApp.
In this latest integration, ChatGPT is limited to text-only input, so users won’t have access to Advanced Voice Mode or visual input features.
Despite this limitation, the text-based interaction promises to deliver the same level of engagement and support that users have come to expect from ChatGPT.
One of the most significant advantages of this integration is that ChatGPT is now available on WhatsApp in all regions where OpenAI offers its services, and no account is required to start using the chatbot.
This means that more users can seamlessly tap into the capabilities of ChatGPT without any additional setup.
OpenAI has also hinted at future improvements, including a way to authenticate existing users on WhatsApp, but specific timeline for this feature’s launch has not been shared.
