Samsung Malaysia has officially revealed the prices for its latest Galaxy A series: the A56 5G, A36 5G, and A26 5G.
The A26 5G starts at RM1,199, the A36 5G at RM1,499, and the A56 5G at RM1,999. These devices will be available starting 18 March 2025, at all Galaxy stores, authorized resellers, and Samsung’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
To recap the specs, all three models boast a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering a peak brightness of 1,900 nits (1,200 nits in high brightness mode).
Additionally, they come with an IP67 rating, making them resistant to water submersion up to 1 meter for approximately 30 minutes. Samsung also stated that they will provide six years of security updates and six OS updates for all three models.
The Galaxy A56 is equipped with the Exynos 1580 processor, paired with the AMD Xclipse 540 GPU for handling graphics-intensive tasks. It offers configurations of 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage.

For photography, the A56 features a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5MP macro shooter. On the front, it sports a 12MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The Galaxy A36, on the other hand, is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, built on a 6nm architecture, and paired with the Adreno 710 GPU. It offers up to 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.

Its camera setup is nearly identical to the A56, with the exception of an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens instead of the 12MP found on the A56.
The Galaxy A26 is driven by the Exynos 1380 processor, coupled with the Mali-G68 MP5 GPU. It supports 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, with the added benefit of expandable storage up to 1TB via a microSD card slot—a feature not available on the A56 or A36.

Additionally, the A26 retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, a rarity in modern smartphones. Its camera setup includes a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens, with a 13MP front-facing camera.
