RedMagic 10S Pro & 10S Pro+ Launched: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 24GB RAM & 7,500mAh Battery

The phone also comes with an emulator for PC games.

RedMagic just unveiled their new flagship gaming phones, the RedMagic 10S Pro and 10S Pro+, in China. These are minor upgrades over the previous 10 Pro series, offering some refined specs for gaming enthusiasts.

Under the hood, both phones run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition, clocked at up to 4.47GHz. They come with up to 24GB of LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 PRO storage.

The display remains a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED BOE Q9+ screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 95.3% screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It also supports 2592Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and DC dimming for better eye comfort. A key highlight is the Red Core R3 Pro gaming chip, which enables 2K+120FPS super-resolution and super-frame concurrency for enhanced visuals.

For cooling, the 10S Pro series uses composite liquid metal cooling 2.0, along with a “Hot Wheels” high-speed centrifugal fan that spins up to 23,000 rpm. The cooling system includes a 12,000mm² 3D ice-step VC and 5,200mm² superconducting copper foil.

Another interesting feature is the built-in PC emulator, which RedMagic claims can run multiple PC games from the Steam platform.

Gaming controls are handled by 520Hz shoulder keys, while haptic feedback comes from an 0815 X-axis linear motor. There are also 1115K stereo speakers and multi-function NFC. The front camera is a 16MP under-display shooter with improved AI tech for better image quality. On the back, there’s a 50MP main camera with features like low-light night mode, fast focus, HDR, AI photo cleanup, and AI album search.

Battery life varies between models—the 10S Pro+ packs a 7,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with 120W fast charging (full charge in 35 minutes), while the 10S Pro has a 7,050mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

Pricing starts at CNY4,999 (~RM2,914) for the RedMagic 10S Pro and CNY5,999 (~RM3,497) for the Pro+ version. The global launch is set for 5 June, so you won’t have to wait long to get their hands on these.
