Huawei Malaysia has officially launched its latest flagship tablet, the MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025), designed for professionals, business users, designers, and creators who need productivity on the go.
The tablet comes with a 12.2-inch Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display, offering a 2.8K resolution, a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, and HDR Vivid support. Thanks to its anti-glare nano-texture coating, the screen cuts down ambient light interference by 99%, making it usable in different lighting conditions. It’s also certified by TÜV Rheinland and SGS for low blue light and eye comfort.
Under the hood, the MatePad Pro 12.2 (2025) runs on Kirin T92A, an octa-core chipset, paired with a new cooling system that boosts performance by up to 30%. It comes with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, along with a hefty 10,100 mAh battery that supports fast charging—going from zero to full in just 55 minutes.
Other highlights include quad speakers, a fingerprint sensor, and compatibility with the included Huawei Glide detachable keyboard, which has a built-in slot for the optional M-Pencil (3rd Gen). The stylus uses Huawei’s NEARLINK tech for easy charging and pairing.
For connectivity, the tablet supports dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4Ghz and 5Ghz), Bluetooth 5.2 with BLE, AAC, LDAC, and NFC. Camera-wise, there’s a 50MP rear shooter and an 8MP front-facing lens.
On the software side, it runs Harmony OS and comes with a PC-level version of WPS Office, complete with multi-tab browsing, desktop-style shortcuts, and advanced formatting tools. The Huawei MatePad Pro 12.2” (2025) is now open for pre-orders in Malaysia until 27 June, priced at RM3,599. You can grab one through Huawei’s official Experience Stores, their website, or authorised platforms like Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
