Jabra Malaysia has introduced the PanaCast 40 VBS, its latest Android video bar system. The video bar is designed for video conferencing, combining a camera, microphone, and speakers into a single unit.
The company says the PanaCast 40 VBS is designed to fully cover small meeting spaces, making it ideal for huddle rooms or compact offices.
The device comes with dual cameras that offer a 180-degree field of view, along with 4x digital zoom. It also includes a built-in speaker and six microphones with adaptive beamforming, which uses audio algorithms to ensure clear sound quality during calls.

The PanaCast 40 VBS also includes AI-powered features like Dynamic Composition, which can display close-up views of up to four people while still showing the full room.
Another feature, Virtual Director, provides real-time speaker tracking. Additional AI tools include Intelligent Zoom to keep all participants in frame and Intelligent Meeting Space, which lets users set virtual boundaries for the meeting area.
Built on the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), the video bar works seamlessly with apps like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

For extra convenience, Jabra is offering optional accessories, including a touch controller and a detachable faceplate. These can be bought separately or as part of a bundle with the video bar.
Pricing and Availability
The PanaCast 40 VBS will go on sale in August, though an exact date hasn’t been announced. The standalone video bar will cost RM8,800, while the bundle that includes the touch controller is priced at RM12,800.
