Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 Retail Unit Leaked Online – What’s New?

It doesn't look that different from its predecessor, except it's much thinner now.

Samsung is set to launch its next foldable flagship, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, next week, but someone already managed to get their hands on the device and leaked it online for everyone to check out.

The leaked images show what seems to be a retail unit of the Fold 7 in its new Blue Shadow colour. The camera island looks similar to the Fold 6’s design, but this time, it features metal camera rings. Another noticeable change is the LED flash, which has been moved lower on the new model.

We also get a glimpse of the device’s slim side profile. Rumour has it that the Fold 7 will measure just 4.2mm when unfolded and 8.9mm when folded. It’s also expected to weigh 215 grams, making it 24 grams lighter than its predecessor.

As for the specs, the Fold 7 is rumoured to pack an 8.2-inch main display and a 6.5-inch cover screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it’s said to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The battery is expected to be 4,400mAh with 25W charging support, and it’ll likely debut with One UI 8 based on Android 16.
