Samsung is expanding its One UI 8 beta beyond the Galaxy S25 series, which first got the update back in May. Starting next week, last year’s flagship phones – including the Galaxy S24, S24+, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, Z Fold6, and Z Flip6 – will be eligible for the beta in the US, UK, India, and South Korea. Users can sign up through the Samsung Members app.
Just a reminder – this is still the beta version. The stable release will arrive later, incorporating feedback from testers. Samsung plans to roll it out in September for the S25 series first, followed by other devices in phases.
If you’ve got an older phone, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. The beta will open up in September for models like the Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, and select A-series phones, including the A36, A55, A35, and A54.
On the wearable side, One UI 8 Watch will also roll out to more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Watch8 series later this year. The update brings new health-focused features and a smoother, more intuitive smartwatch experience to a wider audience.
