Rumors have been swirling for a while that Apple plans to release MacBook Pro models with OLED displays in the near future.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, we might see this happening between late 2026 and early 2027.
Gurman also mentioned that Apple is considering delaying the next MacBook Pro refresh with M5 chips until early 2026. That could explain why the OLED models might arrive a bit later than some originally expected.
As for the upcoming M5 MacBook Pros, they might stick with the same design as the current models. If you’re hoping for a bigger refresh – like an OLED screen, a slimmer body, or a smaller notch – it might be worth waiting for the M6 generation, which is expected to bring more noticeable upgrades.
