Huawei has just teased its next pair of true wireless earbuds, the FreeBuds SE 4 ANC, with a simple “coming soon” announcement to mark the occasion.

On the specs front, they’re running the latest Bluetooth 5.4, which is great for connectivity, but they’ll only handle the standard AAC, SBC, and mSBC codecs. So, if you were hoping for hi-res audio support, that’s unfortunately off the table.
The earbuds themselves are rated at IP54 for dust and water resistance, though the charging case doesn’t share that protection.

Speaking of the case, it’s packing a 510mAh battery, which Huawei says combines with the 41mAh batteries in each bud to deliver a whopping 50 hours of total music playback. That’s with the active noise cancellation switched off, mind you – turn ANC on, and that total drops to a still-respectable 35 hours.

And yes, as the name gives away, active noise cancellation is a key feature here. You get three different presets to play with – Ultra, General, and Cozy modes – so you can adjust how much of the outside world you let in.
Huawei has already revealed the price, which is set at RM249. If you’re quick, there’s an early bird voucher knocking RM150 off for anyone who picks up a pair by the 7 September 2025.
