OnePlus 15 Launches In Malaysia For RM4,399

It's powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and a massive 7,300mAh battery with 120W Supervooc charging.

The new OnePlus 15 has just landed on Malaysian shores. It’s the latest flagship from the brand, packing some rather serious specs that are sure to turn a few heads.

Under the bonnet, things are as top-shelf as you’d expect. The engine room is home to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, one of the most powerful mobile chipsets going. Here in Malaysia, it’s paired with a hefty 16GB of RAM and a big 512GB of storage.

Around the front, you’re greeted by a 6.78-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED display. It’s actually a tad smaller and has a slightly lower resolution than the OnePlus 13, but before you despair, there’s a nice little upgrade for the gamers. The refresh rate can now ramp all the way up to a silky 165Hz when you’re in selected games, while everything else stays buttery smooth at 120Hz.

For the shutterbugs, the camera setup might look familiar on paper. It’s a triple 50MP array, much like its predecessor, though you’ll notice the Hasselblad branding has now taken a hike. The system includes a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide, and a rather capable 50MP periscope telephoto that offers 3.5x optical zoom and also has OIS. On the video front, you can shoot up to 8K at 30fps, and for selfies, there’s a 32MP front-facing camera.

Keeping everything ticking over is a massive 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery. Charging gets a welcome speed boost, too, with wired Supervooc charging now hitting 120W. Wireless charging, however, remains at a still-respectable 50W.

The phone runs on OxygenOS 16, based on the latest Android 16, and OnePlus has committed to four major OS updates and six years of security patches. For connectivity, it’s got all the modern essentials covered: WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and even a handy infrared blaster for controlling your telly or air conditioner.

If you fancy one, it’s available in three colours – Infinite Black, Ultra Violet, and Sand Storm. In Malaysia, there’s just the one configuration with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, setting you back RM4,399 and it’s available starting today.
