First look At The OnePlus Ace 6T With Metal Build

This will be coming globally as the OnePlus 15R.

OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new budget flagship, the Ace 6T, in China. Thanks to the President of OnePlus in China, Louis Jie, we’ve been treated to a first glimpse of the device, giving us a fairly good idea of what to expect.

From the images, the phone sports a clean, modern look. Up front, you’ll find a punch-hole display, while the back houses a simple dual-camera setup. The right-hand side of the frame carries the power key and volume rocker.

Over on the left, there’s a solitary button that is most likely the returning, and quite handy, customisable Plus Key. The overall design appears to feature flat frames and a metal build.

As for the nitty-gritty on specs, the full details are still under wraps. However, we do know a couple of key points the company has already confirmed: the Ace 6T will pack the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset and feature a super-smooth 165Hz display. We won’t have to wait long to learn more about the processor, as Qualcomm is set to officially unveil it on the 26 November 2025.

For those of us outside of China, it’s widely expected that this handset will reach global markets under the more familiar name of the OnePlus 15R. In fact, OnePlus has already started teasing the 15R with a new watch, though the brand is keeping its cards close to its chest regarding a specific launch date for either device.
