SEGA is finally giving Malaysian fans some proper love with its first official community event for Yakuza Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties.
It is all kicking off in Kuala Lumpur on 12 February 2026, marking a pretty massive milestone for local fans who have been following the series for years.
The schedule for the evening looks absolutely packed with fan-favourite activities. They are putting on a live stage demo to show off some key gameplay and new features, so you can see exactly what the new titles bring to the table. There is also a trivia session if you fancy testing your knowledge for some prizes, and in true series fashion, a karaoke mini-game setup to channel your inner Kiryu. To top it all off, a lucky draw will be held for those hoping to bag some special collectibles.
The real draw for many will be the appearance of Ryosuke Horii, the producer and director from RGG Studio. It is a rare treat to have him in town to share some behind-the-scenes stories about the development of Kiwami 3 and Dark Ties. He is also sticking around after the main event for an autograph session, giving fans a chance to meet the man behind the games.

Everyone who makes the cut for the event will walk away with some exclusive goodies. SEGA is handing out original freebies including a specially designed t-shirt, a logo keychain, and a sticker pack.
The event runs from 6PM to 8PM, with the signing session starting immediately after. It is a closed-door affair, so the secret venue will only be revealed to those who get an invite. You will need to get your application in via the official form by 16 January 2026. Space is quite limited, so filling out the form does not guarantee you a spot, but it is certainly worth a go.
If you want to try your luck, you can check out the application form right here. You can also follow RGG Studio SEA Facebook page for more information.
