Sony just dropped their new LinkBuds Clip and these clip-on buds are designed specifically for people who want to keep their music going without feeling totally cut off from the world.
Under the hood, you are looking at a 10mm driver unit with support for the usual SBC and AAC codecs. Sony has also included its DSEE digital sound enhancement tech to help polish up compressed audio, essentially upscaling your tracks so they sound a bit richer and more detailed than your average stream.

When it comes to tailoring your listening experience, there are three modes to play with: Standard, Voice Boost, and Sound Leakage Reduction. If you like to fiddle with your audio settings, the app offers a full ten-band EQ to get things sounding just right. Sony is also promising top-notch call quality here, using a clever mix of a bone conduction sensor and AI-powered noise reduction to ensure you are heard clearly, even when the background gets a bit rowdy.

The battery life is quite impressive, offering up to nine hours from the buds themselves and a total of 37 hours once you factor in the charging case. If you are in a rush to head out, a quick three-minute charge will sort you out for an hour of playback. They also come with an IPX4 rating to handle a splash of rain, alongside Bluetooth 5.3 and Multipoint connectivity for easy switching between your devices.

If you fancy grabbing a pair, the LinkBuds Clip are priced at RM899 and it comes in Green, Greige, Black and Lavender colours. You can find them available right now over on the Sony’s website.
