Sony’s next flagship wireless earbuds, the WF-1000XM6, look like they are going to launch soon, and we have finally caught a glimpse of them thanks to an early slip-up.
A Redditor going by the name Mr_Snail10 spotted a listing for the unannounced buds on a Thai electronics e-commerce site, which definitely wasn’t supposed to happen yet. While the listing was pulled down fairly quickly, The Walkman Blog managed to snag some screenshots before it vanished.

The leak was a bit light on the technical specs, though it did confirm the usual features like noise cancelling, ambient modes, and an IPX4 water resistance rating.

One of the most interesting takeaways from the photos is the finish; it looks like Sony has swapped out the fingerprint-hungry glossy plastic of the XM5s for a much cleaner matte material.

Price-wise, the listing had them at THB11,990, which sits somewhere around RM1,477, though official Malaysian pricing is still anyone’s guess. For comparison, the official launch price of the XM5 was RM1,399.
We are still in the dark about most of the internal upgrades for the XM6, so for now, we will just have to keep our eyes peeled for more info.
