Huawei has been busy lately, dropping a new budget-friendly tablet alongside their latest Band 11 series.

The Huawei MatePad 11.5 Standard Edition has just arrived, and it looks like a decent tablet for anyone after a capable device that won’t break the bank. It features an 11.5-inch display with a sharp 2,456 x 1,600 resolution, and thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, everything should feel pretty smooth. It also hits a peak brightness of 600 nits, which is plenty for catching up on shows or emails in most lighting conditions.
Under the hood, the tablet is powered by a Kirin T82B octa-core chipset paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage and it runs on HarmonyOS 4.3.

If you’re into your media, you will appreciate the quad-speaker audio setup for a bit more punch. It also ships with a wireless keyboard and a detachable case.
Pricing and Availability
The MatePad 11.5 Standard Edition is retailing for RM1,299 and comes in two colourways: Violet and Space Gray. You can pick one up through Huawei’s physical stores, website or online via their official shops on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.
Huawei is offering gifts worth up to RM1,305, which is actually more than the price of the tablet itself. The package includes a Huawei M-Pencil, a Bluetooth mouse, FreeBuds SE 3, the PC-level WPS Office 3.0 software, and a one-year warranty.
