CelcomDigi system is going to be down for a while for a scheduled systems upgrade kicking off at 10pm on 30 April 2026. The maintenance is expected to last for up to 24 hours, so you will want to make sure you have everything settled before the downtime begins.
While the back-end gets a refresh, the company has confirmed that the actual mobile network will stay fully operational, meaning your calls and data should work just fine throughout the day.
That being said, a fair few digital channels will be offline during this window. This includes the CelcomDigi app, the website for reloads and bill payments, their online store, and even physical kiosks. Because of this, it is a good idea to settle any urgent transactions, top up your credit, or grab any necessary add-ons before that 10pm deadline.
If you are heading abroad, the telco suggests pre-booking your roaming passes through the app early. If you miss the cut-off, you will have to wait until 8am on 1 May 2026 to purchase them via the UMB menu by dialling *800#.
If you really must pay a bill or reload during the upgrade, you are not totally out of luck. JomPay will still be available for billing services, and you can always pop into a convenience store to grab a prepaid reload.
