Intel just unveiled two new processors built specifically for handheld gaming devices, dubbed the Arc G3 and Arc G3 Extreme, under the Arc G-Series. These little powerhouses are packing Intel’s Arc B390 GPU (Extreme) and B370 GPU (G3), which means mobile gamers can look forward to proper real-time ray tracing and clever AI upscaling courtesy of the company’s XeSS 3 tech.

These chips are set to feature two performance cores, eight efficiency cores, and four low-power efficiency cores. They are essentially tweaked versions of Core Ultra 3 chips, meaning they will be built on the new 18A process. On top of that, you can expect modern goodies like Wi-Fi 7 R2, Thunderbolt 4, and dual Bluetooth 6 connectivity.

When it comes to features, Intel is promising excellent optimisation for Windows 11’s full-screen Xbox mode. They also mentioned that certain games will boot up much faster thanks to Intel Precompiled Shaders. This tech basically streams optimised shaders straight from the cloud instead of making your device do all the heavy lifting locally. A few of the supported titles already lined up include Black Myth: Wukong, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and 7, and The Outer Worlds 2.
We won’t have to wait long to see how they perform in the real world, as Intel expects these chips to land in devices starting June 2026. Keep an eye out for them in upcoming hardware like the Acer Predator Atlas 8, MSI Claw 8 EX AI+, and the latest from OneXPlayer.
