Samsung Is Dropping Two Galaxy Z Fold 8 Models Next Month

The shorter and squarer model will allegedly be known as the Galaxy Z Fold8, while the regular Fold8 will get the additional "Ultra" moniker.

It looks like Samsung is getting ready to drop two different Galaxy Z Fold devices next month, and a recent leak has given us a proper look at what is coming.

The taller model, which we used to call the Galaxy Z Fold8 but is now apparently being dubbed the Fold8 Ultra, is going to feature a triple-camera system on the back.

The shorter and squarer Fold8 is sporting a dual-camera setup instead, but it makes up for it with a wider folding screen that boasts a 4:3 aspect ratio.

If you are eyeing that wider Galaxy Z Fold8, it is rumoured to pack a 4,800 mAh battery with 45W charging support, whilst keeping things relatively light at 201 g. It is also set to feature a new 50MP camera that includes native support for a 24MP mode. Both foldables are most likely going to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy.
