Microsoft Drops Translucent Green Xbox Series X25 To Celebrate 25th Anniversary of Xbox

The console specs remain identical to the regular Series X console.

Microsoft has just pulled back the curtain on the new Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition console, cooked up specifically to celebrate 25 years of the Xbox brand.

The standout feature here is the translucent green casing on both the console and the bundled controller, which gives you a look at the internal components.

It also sports some exclusive Xbox 25 branding to mark the occasion. Under the hood, however, it is identical to the standard Xbox Series X, so do not expect any extra performance boosts.

If you are looking to snag one, Microsoft is gearing up to launch the Xbox Series X25 in November 2026. The good news is they are also selling the controller as a standalone item, meaning you can grab extras for multiplayer sessions or just pick one up for collection.

We are still waiting on official pricing for both the console and the controller, as Microsoft has kept mum on the price for now.

As usual, the console will not be officially available here, but the company is selling Xbox controllers officially in Malaysia, so there might be a chance that the translucent green controller will be available locally.
