Huawei has just dropped a brand new premium tablet in Malaysia, the MatePad Pro Max, and they are claiming it takes the crown as the world’s thinnest and lightest tablet.

The company says the tablet weighs a mere 509g and measures an incredibly slim 4.7mm. On top of that sleek build, you get a massive 13.2-inch OLED PaperMatte display running at a 144Hz refresh rate, packing a crisp 3,000 x 2,000 resolution and a peak brightness of 1,600 nits.

Under the hood, it is powered by a somewhat mysterious Kirin T93 Pro chip, though we do know it is paired with 12GB of RAM and comes in either 256GB or 512GB storage flavours. For the shutterbugs, there is a 50MP camera on the back and a 12MP selfie camera up front.

Keeping everything juiced up is a massive 10,400mAh battery that supports 66W wired charging, and it even features 40W reverse wired charging to top up your other devices. To round things out, it features a six-speaker setup, four microphones, and is available in Blue colourway.

The Huawei MatePad Pro Max is priced at RM5,999 and comes with free gifts worth up to RM3,154, including the M-Pencil Pro, Huawei Mouse, WPS AI subscription, Huawei Notes, a one-year APAC warranty and one-year PaperMatte Display Care.
