After months of swirling rumours and endless leaks, Samsung has officially lifted the curtain on its latest foldable lineup: the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Flip8. Prices kick off at a cool RM5,399 for the base Flip phone and scale up to an eye-watering RM10,499 for the top-tier Ultra model.
Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra
Leading the charge is the new Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, built for absolute power users. This foldable phone now gets the “Ultra” moniker because Samsung has released another foldable phone with a new form factor bearing the same name.

At its heart lies the custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy chipset, paired with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage configurations ranging from 256GB up to 1TB. The visual experience is anchored by an 8.0-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen featuring a low-reflection finish, Vision Booster, and an adaptive 1 to 120Hz refresh rate. The outer display is no slouch either, offering a 6.5-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel.
Photography gets a massive boost thanks to a headline 200MP main wide-angle sensor alongside a 50MP ultra-wide and an ancient 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, complimented by improved Nightography, 8K APV video recording, and Cine LUT colour controls.
Under the hood, a 5,000mAh dual battery supports 45W wired charging, 20W Fast Wireless Charging, and an expanded graphite cooling structure. Encased in a Flex Titanium display structure with IP48 water resistance, it arrives running One UI 9 over Android 17 in Graphite, Cream, Violet Shadow, and an online-exclusive Green Shadow colour.
Galaxy Z Fold8
Sitting alongside the flagship is the standard Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8, which shares the same powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and memory options but adopts a slightly different form factor. The Z Fold8 is a much shorter and wider phone, almost like a passport-size.

It sports a 7.6-inch QXGA+ main display in a 4:3 aspect ratio paired with a 5.5-inch cover display. The camera arrangement switches to a dual setup featuring a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, complete with software highlights like Dual Recording and My FanCam subject tracking.

Despite its slimmed-down 201g frame, it retains the Flex Titanium structure and IP48 rating. Powering the handset is a 4,800mAh battery supporting 45W charging, while connectivity spans 5G, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. Available in Graphite, Cream, Lavender, and an exclusive Pistachio colourway.
Galaxy Z Flip8
Finally, for those who prefer the pocket-friendly clamshell style, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 brings significant updates to the compact segment.

It breaks away from the Qualcomm chipsets by featuring Samsung’s own Exynos 2600 processor, coupled with 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. Unfolding the device reveals a 6.9-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the outer cover is dominated by a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED FlexWindow panel.
Imaging is handled by a 50MP primary sensor with ProVisual Engine technology paired with a 12MP ultra-wide camera, featuring clever creative modes such as Camcorder Grip with Zoom Rocker, Super Steady with Horizontal Lock, and FlipShot.
A 4,300mAh battery supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging, while IP48 water resistance helps protect the chassis. Offered in Graphite, Cream, Pink, and an online-exclusive Mint,
