Word on the street is that Samsung has been experimenting with a Galaxy S27 Ultra prototype that ditch the S Pen entirely to squeeze in a massive 7,000mAh battery.
However, the Korean tech giant seems to have scrapped that plan, opting instead to stick with a more modest capacity somewhere between 5,700mAh and 6,000mAh as they try to strike the sweet spot between long battery life and overall cell longevity.
In fact, the latest rumour suggests we are most likely looking at a 5,700mAh battery when the phone actually launches.
On top of that, anyone holding out hope for a return of Bluetooth functionality in the built-in stylus is out of luck.
Samsung dropped Bluetooth support from the S Pen starting with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and it looks like that feature is gone for good.
