Logitech just unveiled its new Rally AI Camera and Rally AI Camera Pro, aimed straight at oversized spaces like boardrooms, lecture halls, and full-blown town halls.
The big draw here is Logitech’s RightSight 2 tech, which handles auto-framing on the fly. Whether it needs to grab a shot of the whole group, pinpoint whoever is currently talking, or line everyone up in a tidy grid, it adjusts smoothly as the meeting goes on. For really massive spaces, you can link up multiple units using Zoom Intelligent Director or Microsoft Teams multi-camera views, giving remote folks a much better view of the action from several angles at once.
Hardware-wise, both models pack a custom lens paired with a hefty 1-inch sensor and a wide 115-degree field of view. That combo means you get broad room coverage without losing crisp detail on individual faces, even when the ambient lighting is less than ideal. If you have an exceptionally deep room to cover, the Pro version adds a second optical camera boasting a 15x hybrid zoom to keep presenters at the far end of the hall sharp.
Setting them up looks fairly flexible, too. You can mount them on walls, ceilings, or directly onto displays, though the standard model also gets a neat in-wall option that sits flush with the architecture. If you are worried about privacy, there is a built-in mechanical shutter that clearly closes over the lens so you know when it is offline. Hooking everything up is handled via USB or a single network cable if you use the extension kit, and built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet let IT teams manage devices remotely through Logitech Sync.
Interestingly, these cameras double as smart space trackers. They can count attendees, track live occupancy, and log how often rooms get used, sending all that telemetry straight to Logitech Sync so facilities teams can see how their office space is actually being used. This data even syncs up with room booking systems to automatically release a reserved room if no one actually turns up for the meeting.
You can expect both the Rally AI Camera and the Pro model to start rolling out around September 2026 in either graphite or off-white. Logitech has not dropped local pricing details just yet, but they will be sold exclusively through authorised resellers when they launch.
