Samsung Malaysia has officially launched its newest flagship Android tablets, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S12+, and you can pick one up starting today.
Both slates pack a punch with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. If you need extra room for your files and apps, you can pop in a microSD card to expand that up to 2TB.
They run on Android 17 with Samsung’s OneUI 9 interface, giving you a handy multi-window setup that lets you split your screen into three sections, alongside all the newest Galaxy AI capabilities. Plus, Samsung is committing to seven full years of operating system and security updates to keep things running smoothly down the line.
The Ultra comes equipped with a massive 14.6-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display pushing a crisp 2,960 x 1,848 resolution with a buttery 120Hz refresh rate. If you prefer something slightly more manageable, the Plus model opts for a 12.6-inch panel with a 2,800 x 1,752 resolution.
Battery capacity is another area where the Ultra leads, housing a massive 11,600mAh battery compared to the 10,600mAh cell inside the Plus model. Regardless of which size you go for, both support 45W wired fast charging to top you up quickly.
When it comes to cameras, the Ultra sports a dual rear setup with a 13MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens, whereas the Plus keeps things simple with a single 13MP rear camera. Around the front, both devices share the same 12MP ultra-wide camera, making them well-equipped for video calls and selfies.
Wireless connectivity sees a slight variation as well. The Ultra gets support for Wi-Fi 7, while the Plus model sticks to Wi-Fi 6E. That said, both tablets come with Bluetooth 6.0 and fully support the S Pen stylus.
