Vivo has recently unveiled its newest flagship smartphones in China: the X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro mini.
The X200 and X200 Pro deliver the full-sized flagship experience, whereas the X200 Pro mini offers the same features within a more compact form factor.
All three models feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip, manufactured with a 3nm process by TSMC and equipped with a powerful Cortex-X925 super core for intensive tasks.
Additionally, they include a 12-core GPU designed for graphically intensive tasks. The chip is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage.
All three models boast an IP69 rating, an enhancement from the X100 series’ IP68 rating. The X200 series now provides protection against high-temperature water jets.
Vivo X200 Pro
The X200 Pro boasts a Quad Curved 6.78-inch LTPO display with a variable refresh rate peaking at 120Hz, a maximum brightness of 4,500 nits, and Dolby Vision support.
Its camera system includes a triple rear setup featuring Zeiss optics and Vivo’s V3+ imaging chip, identical to the one in the X100 Ultra. The primary sensor is the Sony LYT-818, a 1/1.28-inch imager paired with a custom f/1.57 lens.
Although it’s a slight step down from the 1-inch sensor found in the X100 Pro series, Vivo claims that this new sensor competes with larger ones in photo quality and exceeds them in video capture capabilities.
A significant enhancement is the addition of the 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera from the X100 Ultra, providing an 85mm (3.7x) zoom and a bright f/2.67 lens. The camera array is completed with a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 32MP autofocus selfie camera.
The X200 Pro is equipped with a 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 30W wireless charging.
Available colours include Sapphire Blue, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White, and Carbon Black.
Vivo X200 Pro mini
The X200 Pro Mini features a 6.31-inch flat display, boasting specifications akin to the Pro model.
It shares the same camera configuration as the Pro model; however, the telephoto lens is a less remarkable 50MP 1/1.95-inch sensor with a 70mm f/2.6 3x zoom.
The device is powered by a 5,700mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 30W wireless charging, identical to the Pro variant.
The Pro Mini comes in an array of colours: Titanium Green, Light Pink, Plain White, and Simple Black.
Vivo X200
The X200 features a 6.67-inch quad-curved LTPS display with Zeiss Natural Color calibration. It’s a 10-bit panel with HDR10+ support, a high-frequency PWM dimming rating, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
The X200 features a 50MP 1/1.56″ Sony IMX921 sensor, which is smaller than the LYT-818 found inside the Pro models. It also has a 70mm telephoto lens featuring a 50MP IMX882 sensor and a capable 50MP ultrawide camera.
The phone is powered by a 5,800mAh battery, but supports 90W wired-only charging.
The X200 is available in Sapphire Blue, Titanium Grey, Moonlight White, and Carbon Black.
