Acer’s sub-brand, Acer Gadget, just dropped two new wearables: the FreeSense Ring and the AI TransBuds.
Acer FreeSense Ring

First up, the FreeSense Ring is all about health tracking, made from super-light titanium alloy. It’s slim at just 2.6mm thick and weighs between 2g to 3g, depending on the size. You can get it in rose gold (matte finish) or black (glossy), with sizes ranging from 7 to 13. It’s also got a 5 ATM and IP68 rating, so it’s dustproof and water-resistant.
The ring keeps tabs on heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep quality, and more, with all the data syncing to a companion app for personalised insights. Acer says there are no extra subscription fees to access your health stats, though we’re still waiting on pricing and release details.
Acer AI TransBuds

Then there’s the AI TransBuds—earbuds with built-in translation. They run on Bluetooth 5.4 with a 10m range, but for real-time two-way translation, you’ll need to connect them to your phone or tablet using a plug-in receiver. The AI-powered feature works across 15 languages from Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Only one person needs to wear the earbuds for the translation to work. They also support live captions and transcriptions, so you can follow along in real time or check back later. No word yet on how much they’ll cost or when they’ll hit the market.
