Alleged Apple’s iPhone 16 Leaked In Real Life

It has a redesigned rear camera island, an Action Button, and a rumoured capture button.

We are nearing the time of year again for the annual release of Apple’s iPhone, and this year it’s going to be iPhone 16.

Apple usually announces a new iPhone series around September or October; now it’s we are already in the middle of August, so expect to see more leaks on the internet.

In this latest round of leaks, a user on Weibo managed to get their hands on alleged iPhone 16 dummy units.

The rumoured iPhone 16 appears to feature a matte glass back and a vertically aligned dual-camera setup. The new camera housing includes a microphone hole, and Apple has relocated the LED flash array to a separate cut-out on the rear panel, which sticks out like a sore thumb in my opinion.

A video uploaded by Majin Bu on X (formerly known as Twitter) provides further details about the phone, showcasing its sides.

The iPhone 16 features the Action Button, initially introduced on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max, and a new button rumored for camera control.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, this new button functions similarly to a DSLR camera button, enabling a light press to activate autofocus and a firmer press to capture the photo. Additionally, swiping across the button allows zooming in and out during photo and video capture.
