AMD has officially unveiled its next RDNA 4 graphics card, the Radeon RX 9060 XT, coming in both 8GB and 16GB VRAM options. It’s designed for 1440p gaming and is built on TSMC’s 4nm process technology.
The RX 9060 XT is based on the RDNA 4 architecture, specifically using the Navi 44 GPU, which is a smaller chip compared to the Navi 48 found in the higher-end 9070 series.

The specs include 32 Compute Units (2048 cores), 32 RT accelerators, and 64 AI accelerators. It has a boost clock of up to 3.13 GHz, with a total board power ranging from 150W for the 8GB model to 182W for the 16GB version.
Memory-wise, the card uses a 128-bit bus with 20 Gbps GDDR6 and supports PCIe 5.0 x16. For display outputs, it comes with DisplayPort 2.1a and HDMI 2.1b, along with full support for FSR 4, as expected with RDNA 4.
In terms of performance, AMD claims the 16GB variant of the RX 9060 XT is about 6% faster than Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti 16GB in 1440p gaming.
Pricing starts at USD299 (~RM1,269) for the 8GB model and goes up to USD349 (~RM1,482) for the 16GB version.
Board partners such as Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, Vastarmor, XFX and Yeston will release the RX 9060 XT starting 5 June 2025.
