Apple Foldable Phone: 7.74-Inch Display, Under-Display Camera, And More

Apple’s first foldable phone could arrive as early as next year.

Apparently Apple’s working on its first foldable phone, and it might even launch next year. A recent leak from Digital Chat Station on Weibo spilled some early details about it.

According to the leak, Apple’s foldable will have a 7.74-inch main screen inside with a 2713×1920 resolution, plus a smaller 5.49-inch outer display at 2088×1422 resolution.

The inner screen will supposedly use an under-display camera for selfies, kind of like Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 4 and later models. But since under-display cameras usually don’t perform as well as regular ones, it’ll be good to see if Apple manages to improve that.

As for the outer screen, it’s said to have a punch-hole camera—which might mean no Dynamic Island this time around. It will be interesting to see if Apple will implement Face ID or Touch ID on this foldable device.
