Apple typically unveils its new iPhones in September, and this year is expected to follow the same pattern. The question remains: which date in September will the company choose for its next big announcement?
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, a well-regarded source for Apple-related news, the iPhone 17 lineup is likely to launch during the week starting 8 September.
The event itself could fall between 8 – 10 September. Gurman notes that Apple avoids holding events on Fridays and steers clear of 11 September for historical reasons.
This year’s lineup is rumoured to include the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max. Notably, the Air model is expected to replace the Plus variant in the series, marking a shift in Apple’s naming strategy.
