Rumour has it that Apple is gearing up for a massive couple of years. If the latest whispers are true, we could see upwards of 20 new gadgets hitting the shelves before 2026 wraps up.
It looks like the Cupertino giant is planning to refresh just about everything in its locker, starting with a budget-friendly iPhone 17e featuring the A19 chip and the Dynamic Island. The base iPad and the iPad Air are also due for a boost, with the latter likely jumping to the M4 chip to keep up with the new AI features everyone is talking about.
We are also expecting a second-generation AirTag with better range and a fresh HomePod mini. Perhaps more exciting is the talk of a HomePod Touch, which sounds like a smart hub with a 7-inch screen designed specifically to make Siri a bit more useful around the house. On the computing side, the Mac mini, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro are all slated for M5 upgrades, while a potential low-cost MacBook powered by an iPhone chip might finally offer a more affordable entry point into the ecosystem.

The display situation is looking up too. Rumour has it we will see a second-gen Studio Display with a silky smooth 120Hz refresh rate, alongside a potential successor to the high-end Pro Display XDR. For those who live in their living rooms, an updated Apple TV 4K with an A17 Pro chip is supposedly on the way, likely to handle the heavy lifting required for Apple Intelligence.
Apple is also expected to launch the Watch Series 12 and Watch Ultra 4 that come with a new S-class chip, possibly expanded with new health sensors, Touch ID and more.

Looking further ahead into 2026, things get properly futuristic. The iPhone 18 lineup sounds like a significant step up, with the Pro models potentially hiding Face ID under the glass to shrink the notch even further. But the real showstopper might be the long-rumoured iPhone Fold, which is said to feature a titanium finish and a crease-free internal screen. We might even see AirPods Pro with built-in cameras for visual AI and a pair of smart glasses designed to work alongside your phone.

Apple also seems to be making a serious play for the smart home market. Beyond the screen-equipped HomePod, there is talk of a first-party security camera and a video doorbell that uses Face ID to unlock your front door. Rounding out the predictions are an OLED iPad mini and a total redesign for the MacBook Pro that could make it thinner than ever with a fancy OLED touch panel. Of course, this is all still firmly in the realm of speculation, so it is best not to bin your current gear just yet.
