Asus Reportedly Skips 2026, Won’t Launch New Zenfone Or ROG Phone Models

But the company says they will continue to provide software and warranty support.

It looks like Asus is putting its phone releases on hold this year.

According to a report from Digitimes, we shouldn’t expect any new models from either the Zenfone or ROG Phone line-ups in 2026. That means no Zenfone 13, and likely no ROG Phone 10 either.

To be clear, Asus isn’t pulling out of the smartphone game entirely – they’re just taking a breather. The company has emphasised that current owners will continue to receive software updates and warranty support as usual.

The pause comes at a time when competition, particularly from Chinese manufacturers, has become incredibly fierce. Gaming phones like RedMagic have been gaining ground on Asus’s own ROG series, while brands such as Oppo and Xiaomi continue to offer compelling high-spec devices at very competitive prices. It seems Asus is stepping back to regroup in what has become an especially tough market.
