Beats has just unveiled its latest wireless headphones, dubbed the Beats 360. These new headphones place a big focus on durability and customisation.
To cope with sweaty workout sessions, they come built with tougher materials and boast an IPX4 water-resistance rating. By default, they feature breathable performance knit mesh ear cushions filled with foam, though you can swap these out for softer leather ones if you prefer.
The headphones themselves come in Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky. If you buy the replacement kits, which include both the cushions and headband, you can mix and match to your heart’s content or easily replace worn-out parts over time.
The knit cushions add extra Navy and Volt options to the mix, while the soft leather ones come in Black and Cloud.
Under the headphones, Beats has crammed in a custom high dynamic range amplifier and fresh dual-magnet dynamic drivers. Thanks to dual neodymium ring magnets, they pack a real punch with 12dB higher output than the Beats Studio Pro, alongside better dampening and extra rigidity for cleaner sound.
Interestingly, they run on a bespoke Beats silicon chip rather than Apple’s H1 or H2 processors. In a setup similar to the AirPods Max, all the critical electronics, batteries, and antennas are split between both earcups to keep headband wiring to a minimum. Even without an Apple-branded chip, you still get all the ecosystem perks like Spatial Audio with head tracking, one-touch pairing, hands-free Siri, and automatic device switching. Android users aren’t left out either, with Fast Pair, Google account sync, and Audio Switch supported through the Beats app.
Noise cancellation has taken a huge step forward, with Beats claiming the 360 can block out 1.75 times more noise than the Studio Pro. Nine onboard microphones work alongside the internal processing power to constantly adjust ANC based on fit and background noise. The transparency mode should feel more natural this time around, and Adaptive EQ works continuously to tweak the sound profile to your specific head and ear shape, even when ANC is turned off.
Battery life comes in at 32 hours whether ANC is running or not. However, it is worth noting that unlike the Studio Pro or AirPods Max, there is no option for wired audio listening here.

If you want to pick up a pair, the Beats 360 will set you back RM1,249, with the standalone Cushion Kits priced at RM199. Both are available now via apple.com and at the Apple Store TRX.
