Remember Nothing’s first headphones, the aptly named Headphone (1), from a few months back? Well, it looks like their more affordable sub-brand, CMF, is getting in on the audio game too. They’ve just announced their own upcoming pair, the CMF Headphone Pro.
Staying true to the CMF playbook, the Headphone Pro sports a colourful and playful design, a clear departure from Nothing’s more minimalist aesthetic.
It seems that personalisation is a focus, as the teaser also hints that you’ll be able to snap on some replacement ear pads in CMF’s signature bright orange.
A closer look at the teaser video reveals a few physical controls on the earcup, including a scroll wheel – likely for volume adjustment – and a slider that could be for playback control. There’s also a USB-C port, though it’s unclear if its job is purely charging or if it doubles as a port for lossless audio.
All we know for now on availability is a 29 September release date. Pricing is still under wraps, but if CMF’s other products are anything to go by, these should land on the more affordable end of the spectrum.
