The rumour mill is working overtime again, and this time we have a juicy look at what Apple might be cooking up for its next big reveal.
Jeff Pu, an analyst over at GF Securities, has shared some details about the long-awaited foldable iPhone alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series that might arrive this September.
Let’s talk about the foldable first, which is being dubbed the iPhone Fold for now. This device is going to feature a 7.8-inch main display that opens up to reveal plenty of screen real estate, paired with a more compact 5.3-inch cover screen for when it is folded.

Under the bonnet, it is expected to run on the new A20 Pro chipset and a bespoke N2 chip, backed up by 12GB of RAM. Interestingly, it might stick with Touch ID and use a C2 modem. Camera-wise, we are looking at a dual 48MP setup on the back and 18MP selfie shooters on both the inside and the front.

Then there is the standard Pro lineup. The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are also tipped to get that A20 Pro silicon and the C2 modem, with 12GB of RAM becoming the new norm across the board. There is a bit of a debate regarding the selfie cameras, though; while Pu suggests an 18MP sensor, other whispers in the industry point toward a 24MP lens for all the 18-series models.

On the back, the Pro models are looking quite formidable with a trio of 48MP lenses, including a main sensor with variable aperture and a periscope telephoto lens.
As for the sizes, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to keep its 6.3-inch footprint, while the Pro Max stays large and in charge with a 6.9-inch display. The Pro models are also rumoured to be using an under-display Face ID system, which would finally clear up some of that screen space. It is all still firmly in rumour territory for now, but September is starting to look like an exciting month for Apple fans.
