Apple reportedly preparing to enter the foldable devices market with iPad and iPhone.
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is developing аn giant iPad that “unfolds into the size of two iPad Pros side-by-side.” This iPad is expected to launch around 2028.
Prototypes of Apple’s foldable iPad have made significant progress on the front, with nearly indistinguishable screen crease.
According Gurman’s sources, Apple is aiming for a size of approximately 20 inches when fully expanded.
Apple’s first foldable will most likely launch with a slightly modified version of iPadOS that will take advantage of the foldable screen.
While the company appears to be focusing on its foldable iPad, Gurman also mentioned that Apple has been exploring a foldable iPhone, although it’s not expected to launch before 2026.
