Galaxy Watch 8 Classic Renders Reveal Ultra-Inspired Design & Key Specs

This smartwatch is expected to come out alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 in July.

The Galaxy Watch 8 series is expected to launch in early July, likely at the same time as the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7.

One of the Watch 8 series wearables, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, has recently appeared in CAD-based renders. These images reveal a squircle case design, taking inspiration from last year’s Galaxy Watch Ultra. The Watch 8 Classic might also see the return of the rotating bezel.

The Watch 8 Classic will likely come in just one size, either 46mm or 47mm, and is rumoured to pack a 450 mAh battery. It’ll feature a roughly 1.5-inch round display, with overall dimensions measuring 46 x 46.5 x 14.2 mm. Both LTE and non-LTE versions should be available.

Under the hood, the Watch 8 Classic will run on the Exynos W1000 chipset. This processor has a penta-core setup, including four ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 1.5 GHz and a Cortex-A78 core reaching up to 1.6 GHz.

It’s paired with a Mali-G68 MP2 GPU and fast LPDDR5 RAM. The W1000 is built on an efficient 3nm GAA process, which should help with performance and battery life.
