Google Pixel 9a Now Available in Malaysia – Price, Specs & Where To Buy

The Pixel 9a is available in either 128GB or 256GB, and it comes with 8GB of RAM.

Google’s new budget-friendly phone, the Pixel 9a, is now up for grabs in Malaysia.

The Pixel 9a is priced at RM2,699 for the 128GB model and RM3,199 for the 256GB,

Launched last month, you can snag it on Shopee and Lazada, or through authorised Google partners like CelcomDigi, Maxis, U Mobile, SenQ, Urban Republic, and TMT.

The phone sports a 6.3-inch pOLED display with a crisp 2424×1080 resolution and a super smooth 120Hz refresh rate. It also gets crazy bright—1,800 nits for HDR and a peak of 2,700 nits. There’s an in-display fingerprint scanner, and the whole thing is IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.

Inside, the Pixel 9a runs on Google’s Tensor G4 chip with the Titan M2 security coprocessor. It’s got 8GB of RAM and your pick of 128GB or 256GB storage. The only bummer? It uses the older Exynos 5300 modem instead of the newer 5400 found in the pricier Pixel 9 models.

For cameras, you get a 48MP main shooter with Quad PD Dual Pixel AF and OIS, plus a 13MP ultrawide lens. It can record 4K video at 60fps, and the 13MP front cam handles 4K at 30fps.

Powering it all is a 5,100mAh battery that Google claims lasts over 30 hours. It supports 23W wired charging and Qi wireless charging too.

Out of the box, it runs Android 15 with all of Google’s latest AI features, and like other Pixels, it’s guaranteed seven years of OS and security updates.
