Honor Launches 600 Series In Malaysia; Price Starts From RM2,599

Honor was very clearly inspired by a phone from a specific fruit-branded company.

Honor just dropped the 600 series in Malaysia, and it is pretty clear where they found their style cues this time around. Both the standard Honor 600 and the 600 Pro sport a refreshed look that feels very reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro, especially with that massive camera island and the punchy orange colourway.

Both upper mid-range phones are rocking 6.57-inch LTPS AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and a crazy 8,000 nits HDR peak brightness. They have also kept their focus on eye health with hardware-level blue light dimming and high-frequency PWM dimming.

When it comes to performance, the base model uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, whereas the Pro steps up to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. You can get up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage on both.

For the avid photographers out there, the Pro version adds a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. Both phones share a 200MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 50MP selfie cam, though the standard 600 sticks to a dual-camera setup on the back.

The battery life should be impressive thanks to a huge 7,000mAh silicon-carbon cell. Charging is fairly snappy at 80W wired, and they even support 27W reverse wired charging to help out your mates. If you go for the Pro, you also get 50W wireless charging.

Honor has made these devices quite hardy too, with full IP69K protection and top-tier drop test certifications. Software-wise, they are running MagicOS 10 on top of Android 16, featuring a new AI button and a clever on-device tool for turning images into videos.
