Honor Magic V6 Breaks Cover At MWC 2026 With An Almost Creaseless Display

Honor claims they managed to reduce the screen crease depth by 44% compared to Magic V5.

Honor has just unveiled its latest flagship foldable, the Magic V6, over at MWC 2026 in Barcelona, Spain.

The V6 is using the brand new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset along with a hefty 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The real highlight of this foldable is the main display. The 7.95-inch display uses a reinforced glass layer that has apparently cut the crease depth by 44%, so the screen should have a much smoother surface than previous models. It is also incredibly bright, peaking at 5,000 nits, and features a new anti-reflection layer to help with legibility when you are out in the sun.

The 6.52-inch cover screen is just as impressive, reaching an even higher 6,000 nits of brightness. Both displays support a stylus and house a 20MP selfie camera, so you are well-covered for selfies and video calls whichever way you hold it.

Over on the back, Honor has stuck with a triple-camera setup. You get a 50MP main shooter with optical image stabilisation, a 64MP periscope telephoto lens for 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens to round things off.

Despite all this tech, the device is remarkably thin, measuring just 8.75mm when folded. It is also properly tough, carrying IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance.

Battery life should be solid too, thanks to a massive 6,660mAh silicon-carbon battery. They have bumped up the charging speeds to 80W for wired and 66W for wireless, and it even supports reverse wireless charging. On the software side, it is launching with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. Honor is also promising seven major Android updates, which is a fantastic commitment to longevity.

Perhaps the most surprising part of the announcement is how well the Magic V6 plays with Apple kit. The updated Honor Connect now allows for two-way notification syncing with iPhones, iPads, and even the Apple Watch. Mac users can even use the foldable’s main screen as a secondary display or easily swap files back and forth.

You will be able to pick one up in red, gold, white, or black, though we are still waiting for the final word on exactly how much it will cost and when it will hit the shelves.
