Huawei Mate X6, FreeBuds Pro 4, And Nova 13 Series Arrive In Malaysia – Pricing & Features

The Mate X6 retails for RM8,688, nova 13 Series starts at RM1,799, and the FreeBuds Pro 4 is priced at RM899.

Huawei Malaysia has officially released the Mate X6, FreeBuds Pro 4, and 13 Series for pre-order today.

The Huawei Mate X6 features a 7.93″ LTPO OLED main display (2440 × 2240, 1,800 nits) and a 6.45″ LTPO OLED cover display (FHD+, 2,500 nits) with second-gen Kunlun Glass protection. The foldable will be available in Nebula Red, Nebula Grey, and Black.

The foldable phone measures just 4.6mm when unfolded and 9.9mm when folded, with an IPX8 water resistance rating.

The flexible inner display supported by carbon fibre plate which offers high deformation resistance (380 GPa) and increased stiffness (+65%) for protection.

The middle frame is made of aviation-grade aluminium (yield strength of 550 MPa providing excellent resistance.

Although Huawei hasn’t confirmed the chipset, it’s likely the Kirin 9020, featuring a 12-core CPU (2 prime cores up to 2.5GHz, 6 mid cores up to 2.1GHz, and 4 efficiency cores up to 1.6GHz) and a Mali-G78 GPU (840 MHz), but sadly it doesn’t support 5G.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP RYYB main sensor with a variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0), a 48MP periscope telephoto lens (4X optical zoom, 5cm macro), and a 40MP ultrawide lens with autofocus. An Ultra Chroma Camera adds richer, lifelike colour capture.

The Mate X6 is running on EMUI 15 and powered by a 5,110mAh silicon-carbon battery with 66W wired, 50W wireless, and 7.5W reverse wireless charging.

The Huawei nova 13 Pro features a 6.76″ LTPO display (2776 × 1224) with a 120Hz variable refresh rate and Always-On Display (AOD).

The Nova 13 comes with a 6.7″ LTPS OLED screen (2412 × 1084) with 120hz refresh rate as well.

The Pro model includes dual telephoto cameras: a 12MP 69mm rear camera and an 8MP 52mm front camera. Its 50MP main rear camera features a variable aperture (f/1.4–f/4.0) with OIS for low-light performance, and a 60MP ultrawide selfie camera (17mm, 100°) for group shots.

The standard Nova 13 has a 50MP fixed-aperture (f/1.9) rear camera without OIS but shares the same 60MP ultrawide selfie camera.

Both models are IP65-rated for water resistance and support Splash Touch for touchscreen usability when wet. They house 5,000mAh batteries with 100W fast charging; the Pro reaches 50% in 9 minutes, while the standard model takes 10 minutes.

The Pro is available in Loden Green and Black, while the standard model adds a White option. Both feature 12GB of RAM, with the standard offering 256GB of storage and the Pro doubling that to 512GB. The chipset powering the phones remains undisclosed and they also don’t support 5G.

Huawei has launched its new audio brand, Huawei Sound, debuting with the FreeBuds Pro 4, which sport the “Huawei Sound” logo and they are available in Black, White, and Green.

The FreeBuds Pro 4 deliver 2.3 Mbps lossless audio at 48 kHz/24-bit quality when paired with newer Huawei devices.

They support L2HC 4.0, HWA Lossless, and Hi-Res Wireless certifications, with sound fine-tuned in collaboration with the Central Conservatory of Music for their dual 11mm acoustic drivers.

The earbuds offer up to 100dB noise reduction, surpassing most ANC-equipped TWS earbuds. Three-stage memory ear tips ensure a proper seal for optimal performance. Additional features include advanced call noise cancellation, spatial audio, and head-tracking gestures for call management.

Powered by the Kirin A2 chip and running on Bluetooth 5.2, the FreeBuds Pro 4 support multi-device pairing. They are IP54-rated and provide up to 7 hours of playback on a single charge, with up to 33 hours using the charging case.
