Huawei has officially confirmed that its latest smartwatches, the Huawei Watch GT7 series, is launching in Malaysia on 29 September 2026.
The series looks set to come in two flavours, a standard model and a Pro version. The top-tier GT 7 Pro sports a premium build featuring a titanium frame, ceramic bezel, and a super bright 1.47-inch sapphire glass screen pushing 3000 nits.
Battery life is impressive, giving you up to 21 days with light use, 12 days under normal conditions, or 51 hours in trail run mode.
When you do need to top up, the Huawei Wireless SuperCharge gets you back to full power in just 95 minutes. Beyond the hardware, notable features include a health community tool that lets you share data with family, alongside a diabetes risk study developed in partnership with Universiti Malaya.
The standard Huawei Watch GT7 comes in two different sizes, 41mm and 46mm, and it shares many of the features found on the Pro version, including the diabetes tool, while placing a heavy focus on daily wellness with a Physical Readiness Score, HRV tracking, sleep and stress monitoring, and an emotional wellbeing app.
It has a slightly lighter design paired with stylish colour options and a display that stays bright and clear for everyday use.
Pre-orders for the GT 7 Pro and GT 7 in Malaysia are open now with a RM100 deposit, though official pricing will remain under wraps until the launch event. Both watches come with a free strap and a Huawei FreeBuds SE 2 Ceramic White wireless earbuds.
