Instagram is finally letting us fix our mistakes by introducing comment editing, though there is a bit of a catch.
You only have a 15 minutes window to sort out any typos or rethink what you have said before the edit option disappears for good. It is a long-overdue update, but you will need to be quick if you realise you have made a blunder.
There are a couple of other limitations to keep in mind while you are fixing your comments. For starters, this only applies to the text itself. If you have shared a comment that includes a photo, that image is staying put, even if you decide to change the caption. The upside is that there is no limit to how many times you can polish your comment within that initial fifteen-minute period.
Once you have made a change, Instagram will add a little label to let everyone know the comment has been edited.
