Modern iPhones are known for their consistent design, which has remained largely unchanged over the years. However, this year, Apple might finally be shaking things up with a fresh look for its upcoming models.
According to an image shared by Majin Bu on X, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to feature a noticeably different design compared to the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.
While the standard iPhone 17 is rumoured to look quite similar to the iPhone 16 with only minor tweaks, the image also hints at a fourth model—the rumoured iPhone 17 Air.
The 17 Air is rumoured to be Apple’s thinnest phone yet, measuring just 5.5mm at its thinnest point, over 2mm slimmer than the iPhone 16 models. It will feature a base-level A19 chip and a single rear camera.
That said, it’s important to approach these renders with caution, as they may not reflect the final product.
Bloomberg reports that the iPhone 17 lineup is shaping up to be a significant upgrade, especially for the Pro models. Apple is said to be focusing heavily on enhancing video recording capabilities, which are expected to take centre stage when the new iPhones are unveiled in September.
