Is This The iPhone Ultra? Leaked Dummy Unit Reveals Apple’s First Foldable

It's expected to launch alongside the iPhone 18 Pro/Pro Max in less than three months.

Apple is reportedly getting ready to unveil its very first foldable iPhone, which might be dubbed the iPhone Ultra, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro series this September.

A new leak has given us a proper look at how this device could shape up in real life. Keep in mind that this is just a dummy unit, so the final design that hits shelves might look a little different.

If the rumours are right, the iPhone Ultra is going to be incredibly sleek. It is expected to be nearly as thin as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 when closed, and a mere 4.5mm thick when opened up.

Around the back, Apple seems to be opting for a dual-camera setup with both lenses tucked neatly inside a pill-shaped module.

Under the hood, the iPhone Ultra is rumoured to pack the upcoming A20 Pro chipset and 12GB of RAM, driving a 5.49-inch cover display and a 7.76-inch inner flexible screen.

Once you flip it open, the internal display makes the phone look a bit like a pocket-sized iPad mini. You can also spot a hole-punch cutout in the top-left corner, which is where the inner selfie camera will likely live. As for the external cover screen, that one gets a centred hole-punch cutout for its own front-facing camera.
